Office Manager

Samida Muhammad was born and raised in Mexico. She moved to Chicago to pursue a Bachelor's of Arts in Criminology, Law and Justice and a Minor in African American Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). While in college, she joined UIC's Mock Trial Team where she fell in love with the law and learned about trial advocacy. After one year on the team she was named captain, a title she would hold until she graduated. While in college she was employed by a civil litigation law firm in Chicago as a records clerk gaining further knowledge of the legal process.

After graduating, Samida went on to pursue her Paralegal Certificate from DePaul University. She also continued to stay involved with her mock trial team as a volunteer assistant coach. Upon completion of her certificate program, she was hired at a property tax law firm as a paralegal where she prepared property tax appeals.

After getting married in July of 2020, she moved to Charlotte where she could enjoy the beautiful scenery and warm weather. She accepted a job as the office manager for Kimberly Saxton & Associates, PLLC where she loves being part of a team that provides life changing legal representation to the people that need it. Her fluency in Spanish will allow us to help a more diverse population of our community. In her free time she likes to go to the movies, spend time with her family, travel and bake.
