Jordan L. Cassino grew up in North Palm Beach, Florida, the oldest of three children. At a very young age she made the decision that her goal in life was to help those routinely mistreated and disadvantaged by the law. Her volunteer work at her Youth Church Group intensified this desire.  This led her to attend The University of Florida, where she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and a Minor in History.  During her time at The University of Florida she joined Sigma Kappa Sorority where she was elected to serve as Apparel Chair.  Jordan also volunteered her time with multiple charity organizations, including the Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.  Jordan also spent her free time volunteering at the Humane Society caring for abandoned animals.

After college, she moved to North Carolina to pursue her legal education at Wake Forest University School of Law.  While in law school she was a member of the Journal of Law and Policy.  She also participated in editing the sixth edition of "Criminal Procedures: Prosecution and Adjudication," a manual aimed towards helping both lawyers and law students learn and understand the criminal justice system. Additionally, she worked on the Jury Sunshine Project, participating in statewide studies designed to address racial disparities in the jury selection process in North Carolina. Jordan also worked in the Innocence and Justice Clinic where she helped to free wrongfully convicted clients, as well as the Pro Bono Prison Letter Project, responding to inmates' letters by answering their legal questions. She completed two internships while at Wake Forest University School of Law: first, she interned with a solo practitioner handling court-appointed criminal defense cases, and then with the Mecklenburg County Public Defender's Office. She ultimately earned her Juris Doctorate with Honors, graduating in the top 15% of her class.

Jordan joined Kimberly Saxton and Associates, PLLC to fulfill her desire to practice criminal defense and family law. When not in the office, she enjoys watching Florida Gator football, baking, and spending time with her husband, and Jack Russell Chihuahua, Zeus.
