Alonia Latimore

Alonia Latimore is originally from the Windy City—Chicago, Illinois—but moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to pursue new career opportunities and gain valuable experience. She is a proud graduate of JCSU, a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her time at JCSU, she was actively involved on campus as a member of the Debate Team, Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, and Black Women of Excellence. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Currently, Alonia is pursuing a Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in Business Compliance at Wake Forest University. Her passion for understanding how law and business intersect continues to inspire her academic and professional journey. After completing her Master’s degree, she plans to pursue a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with the goal of becoming an attorney.

Outside of academics and career goals, Alonia loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling.
